The Scranton Rockets (Scranton, AR) basketball nipped the host Union Christian Academy Eagles (Fort Smith, AR), 49-47 in Friday's non-league test.
The Rockets (21-6) will now prepare for their test against Wonderview (Hattieville, AR). The Daredevils go into the 1A Region 4 test with a 15-6 record.
The Eagles now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Providence Academy for a Heartland Christian test on Tuesday, January 9. Union Christian Academy will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 65-53 non-league loss to The New School (Fayetteville, AR). The Patriots record now stands at 0-10.
