Seagoville Dragons (Dallas, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Spruce Timberwolves (Dallas, TX), 74-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Seagoville upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Dragons travel to Poteet (Mesquite, TX) to play the Pirates in a 5A Region II District 12 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Poteet won 53-35 in their recent league bout against Conrad (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Timberwolves play the Samuell Spartans (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Spruce will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 79-60 league win over Adams (Dallas, TX).
