Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR) and the host White County Central Bears (Judsonia, AR), saw Sloan-Hendrix's basketball squad knock off White County Central by a count of 72-61.

With the victory, Sloan-Hendrix upgrades its record to 19-7 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR) to play the Warhawks in a 2A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Warhawks come into the challenge with a record of 18-7.

Next up, the Bears play the South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR) in a 2A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. White County Central will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record.
