Tennessee High School Basketball - South Fulton can't hold off Union City

The Union City Golden Tornadoes basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host South Fulton Red Devils to 55 in the Golden Tornadoes non-league victory on Friday.
The Golden Tornadoes now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dresden for a 1A District 14 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Union City will battle a Lions team coming off a 51-35 league loss to Gleason (Gleason, TN). The Lions record now stands at 3-4.
The Red Devils (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lake County (Tiptonville, TN). The Falcons come into the 1A District 14 contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Lake County was nudged by Obion County (Troy, TN), 58-45, in a non-league contest.
