Beaumont Cougars (Beaumont, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Citrus Valley Blackhawks (Redlands, CA), 50-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Beaumont upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Redlands East Valley (Redlands, CA) to play the Wildcats in a bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Redlands East Valley lost 56-41 in their recent league bout against Yucaipa (Yucaipa, CA)

Next up, the Blackhawks play the Cajon Cowboys (San Bernardino, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Citrus Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 66-21 league win over Redlands (Redlands, CA).
