State College Little Lions (State College, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Chambersburg Trojans (Chambersburg, PA), 38-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, State College upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Little Lions travel to Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Trojans play the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders (Harrisburg, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Chambersburg will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 35-34 non-league loss to Pottsville (Pottsville, PA).
