Harlem Huskies (Machesney Park, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL), 57-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Harlem upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Huskies host Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL) to clash with the Blue Thunder in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Blue Thunder go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the J-Hawks clash with the Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
