The Saguaro Sabercats basketball team (Scottsdale, AZ), was nudged 49-46 in Friday's league battle with the host Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ)

The Wildcats now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's for a battle on Wednesday, January 10. Mesquite will battle a Knights team coming off a 40-25 non-league win over Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 1-0.

The Sabercats (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ). The Wildcats come into the battle with a 6-2 record.
