Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Addison Trail Blazers (Addison, IL), 40-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Hinsdale South upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Hornets host Minooka (Minooka, IL) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Minooka won 55-51 in their recent league bout against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL)

Next up, the Blazers clash with the Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs (Cicero, IL) in a West Suburban - Gold bout, on Saturday, January 6. Addison Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 31-27 league loss to Proviso East (Maywood, IL).
