The Airline Vikings basketball team (Bossier City, LA), was nudged 50-45 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA)
The Gators now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benton for a 5A District 1 battle on Tuesday, January 9. Captain Shreve will confront a Tigers team coming off a 56-51 league win over Southwood (Shreveport, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 13-10.
The Vikings (14-7) will now prepare for their battle against Parkway (Bossier City, LA). The Panthers come into the 5A District 1 battle with a 15-6 record. In their last battle, Parkway edged Byrd (Shreveport, LA), 62-3, in a league battle.
