The Allen Eagles (Allen, TX) basketball felled the host Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX), 50-33 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (20-5) will now prepare for their test against Prosper (Prosper, TX). The Eagles go into the 6A Region I District 5 test with a 20-6 record. In their last test, Prosper was beaten by Braswell (Little Elm, TX), 60-51, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they host McKinney for a 6A Region I District 5 test on Tuesday, January 9. Guyer will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 57-39 league win over Boyd (McKinney, TX). The Lions record now stands at 12-14.
