The Mott Haven Mavericks basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Archimedes to 33 in the Mavericks league victory on Friday.
The Mavericks now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morris for a PSAL AA Bronx contest on Wednesday, January 10. Mott Haven will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 36-19 league loss to Morrisania (Bronx, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-5.
The (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Morrisania (Bronx, NY). The Lions come into the PSAL AA Bronx contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Morrisania prevailed over Morris (Bronx, NY), 36-19, in a league contest.
