Wayne Christian Eagles (Goldsboro, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots (Kinston, NC), 57-21 in a league bout.

With the victory, Wayne Christian upgrades its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC) to play the Centurions in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Centurions come into the bout with a record of 3-6.

Next up, the Patriots play the Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Plain bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Arendell Parrott Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record.
