The De Queen Leopards basketball team (De Queen, AR), was nudged 68-67 in Friday's league battle with the host Arkadelphia Badgers (Arkadelphia, AR)
The Badgers now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Camden Fairview for a 4A Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 9. Arkadelphia will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 71-53 league win over Magnolia (Magnolia, AR). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-6.
The Leopards (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Hope (Hope, AR). The Bobcats come into the 4A Region 7 battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Hope was nudged by Malvern (Malvern, AR), 50-42, in a league battle.
