The Hanceville Bulldogs basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Ashville Bulldogs to 44 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cullman Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Hanceville will meet a Lions team coming off a 46-40 non-league win over Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL). The Lions record now stands at 10-7.

The Bulldogs (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Etowah (Attalla, AL). The Blue Devils enter the 4A Area 11 contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Etowah was nudged by Cherokee County (Centre, AL), 54-16, in a non-league contest.
