The Bangor Christian Patriots (Bangor, ME) basketball nipped the visiting Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME), 35-28 in Friday's league test.

The Patriots (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Schenck (East Millinocket, ME). The Wolverines go into the D North test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Schenck was tipped by Piscataquis (Guilford, ME), 43-40, in a non-league test.
