With the win, Buena Vista upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Demons travel to St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO) to clash with the Pirates in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 5-1. St. Mary's won 72-23 in their recent non-league bout against Swink (Swink, CO)

Next up, the Stallions clash with the La Junta Tigers (La Junta, CO) in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks bout, on Thursday, January 11. Banning Lewis Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 48-41 league loss to Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO).
