Ohio High School Basketball - Columbus International nipped by Beechcroft

The Beechcroft Cougars held off the visiting Columbus International Lions basketball team by a score of 60-53 in Friday's league contest.

The Cougars now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whetstone for a Columbus City - North contest on Tuesday, January 9. Beechcroft will battle a Braves team coming off a 54-45 league win over Mifflin (Columbus, OH). The Braves record now stands at 1-9.

The Lions (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Columbus, OH). The Stars come into the Columbus City - North contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Centennial edged Hilliard Davidson (Hilliard, OH), 60-56, in a non-league contest.
