The Caldera (Bend, OR) basketball nipped the host Bend Lava Bears (Bend, OR), 51-50 in Friday's league test.

The (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Ridgeview (Redmond, OR). The Ravens go into the 5A Intermountain test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Ridgeview was tipped by Summit (Bend, OR), 50-14, in a league test.

The Lava Bears now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain View for a 5A Intermountain test on Tuesday, January 9. Bend will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 58-54 league loss to Redmond (Redmond, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 6-4.
