In Friday's league outing, the Meadowcreek Mustangs (Norcross, GA) basketball squad felled the visiting Berkmar Patriots (Lilburn, GA), by a margin of 46-37.

The Mustangs (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against Seckinger (Buford, GA). The Jaguars go into the non-league outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Seckinger was beaten by Chestatee (Gainesville, GA), 69-13, in a league outing.

The Patriots now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they host Duluth for a AAAAAAA Region 7 outing on Tuesday, January 9. Berkmar will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 66-30 non-league loss to Walton (Marietta, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-11.
