The Big Spring Steers basketball team (Big Spring, TX), was overwhelmed 75-8 in Friday's league battle with the host Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX)

The Lobos now possess a 23-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Snyder for a 4A Region I District 5 battle on Tuesday, January 9. Levelland will confront a Tigers team coming off a 50-23 league win over Lake View (San Angelo, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 10-14.

The Steers (1-17) will now prepare for their battle against Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Matadors come into the 4A Region I District 5 battle with a 13-10 record. In their last battle, Estacado trounced Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX), 66-33, in a league battle.
