Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS) and the visiting Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS), saw Kossuth's basketball squad knock off Biggersville by a tally of 65-51.

With the victory, Kossuth improves its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Aggies travel to Alcorn Central (Glen, MS) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 13-3. Alcorn Central won 57-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Corinth (Corinth, MS)

Next up, the Lions play the Tremont Eagles (Tremont, MS) in a 1A Region 1 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Biggersville will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record.
