St. Joseph's - Plaucheville Eagles (Plaucheville, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Block Bears (Jonesville, LA), 53-12 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Joseph's - Plaucheville upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Eagles host Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 17-4.
Next up, the Bears play the Delhi Bears (Delhi, LA) in a 1A District 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Block will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 53-12 non-league loss to JS Clark Leadership Academy (Opelousas, LA).
