The Middletown Knights (Middletown, MD) basketball felled the visiting Brunswick Railroaders (Brunswick, MD), 54-38 in Friday's league test.

The Knights (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD). The Warriors go into the Central Maryland test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Boonsboro was beaten by Catoctin (Thurmont, MD), 58-36, in a league test.

The Railroaders now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Catoctin for a Central Maryland test on Wednesday, January 10. Brunswick will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 58-36 league win over Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 9-1.
