The Bryant Hornets (Bryant, AR) basketball nipped the visiting Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR), 44-42 in Friday's league test.
The Hornets (14-9) will now prepare for their test against Central (Little Rock, AR). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Central was tipped by Duncanville (Duncanville, TX), 67-39, in a non-league test.
The Hurricane now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to North Little Rock for a 6A Central test on Friday, January 12.
