Arkansas High School Basketball - Buffalo Island Central can't hold off Riverside

The Riverside Rebels basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Buffalo Island Central Mustangs to 49 in the Rebels league triumph on Friday.
The Rebels now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Earle for a 2A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, January 9.
The Mustangs (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Thunderbirds enter the 2A Region 3 contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Cross County was nudged by White County Central (Judsonia, AR), 54-49, in a non-league contest.
