The Bunn Wildcats basketball team (Bunn, NC), was overwhelmed 55-17 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Franklinton Rams (Franklinton, NC)
The Rams now possess a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northern Nash for a 2A/3A Big East battle on Tuesday, January 9. Franklinton will battle a Knights team coming off a 48-43 league win over Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Knights record now stands at 2-5.
The Wildcats (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC). The Bulldogs come into the 2A/3A Big East battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Nash Central was overwhelmed by Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC), 47-24, in a league battle.
