Kansas High School Basketball - Riverton knocked off by Caney Valley

The Caney Valley Bullpups basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Riverton Rams to 44 in the Bullpups non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bullpups now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Erie for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Caney Valley will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 72-35 non-league loss to Cherryvale (Cherryvale, KS). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-5.
The Rams (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Girard (Girard, KS). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Girard ran past Columbus (Columbus, KS), 43-22, in a non-league contest.
