Carnegie Wildcats (Carnegie, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Rush Springs Redskins (Rush Springs, OK), 49-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Carnegie upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Binger-Oney (Binger, OK) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Binger-Oney won 71-9 in their recent non-league bout against Temple (Temple, OK)
Next up, the Redskins play the Verden Tigers (Verden, OK) in a Grady County bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Rush Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 55-34 non-league loss to Shidler (Shidler, OK).
