The Lions now possess a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Center for a 4A Region III District 17 battle on Tuesday, January 9. Henderson will confront a Roughriders team coming off a 55-44 league win over Gilmer (Gilmer, TX). The Roughriders record now stands at 15-7.

The Bulldogs (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Kilgore (Kilgore, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Region III District 17 battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Kilgore was nudged by Henderson (Henderson, TX), 53-41, in a league battle.
