Chelan Mountain Goats (Chelan, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cascade Kodiaks (Leavenworth, WA), 49-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Chelan upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Mountain Goats host Cashmere (Cashmere, WA) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A Caribou Trail bout on Monday, January 8. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Cashmere won 67-14 in their recent league bout against Omak (Omak, WA)

Next up, the Kodiaks play the Omak Pioneers (Omak, WA) in a 1A Caribou Trail bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Cascade will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 63-19 non-league loss to Tonasket (Tonasket, WA).
