Cedar Hill Longhorns (Cedar Hill, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, TX), 65-28 in a league bout.
With the win, Cedar Hill upgrades its record to 14-11 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Skyline (Dallas, TX) to play the Raiders in a 6A Region II District 11 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 13-12. Skyline lost 71-66 in their recent league bout against Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX)
Next up, the Tigers play the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes (Duncanville, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Mansfield will attempt to upgrade on its 11-13 season record. The Panthers and Pantherettes go into the bout with a 20-3 record after their 84-31 league win over Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX).
