The Eagles now possess a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dover for a 3A Region 5 battle on Tuesday, January 9. Mayflower will confront a Pirates team coming off a 73-57 league win over Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 13-3.

The Mustangs (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against Perryville (Perryville, AR). The Mustangs come into the 3A Region 5 battle with a 16-4 record. In their last battle, Perryville was overwhelmed by Jessieville (Jessieville, AR), 66-44, in a non-league battle.
