Kansas High School Basketball - Chanute knocked off by Pittsburg

The Pittsburg Dragons basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Chanute Blue Comets to 36 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Dragons now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Scott for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Pittsburg will battle a Tigers team coming off a 64-47 non-league win over Labette County (Altamont, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 6-0.
The Blue Comets (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Field Kindley (Coffeyville, KS). The Golden Tornado enter the Southeast Kansas contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Field Kindley was defeated by Parsons (Parsons, KS), 64-61, in a non-league contest.
