Maryland High School Basketball - Clarksburg tops Quince Orchard

Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD), 53-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Clarksburg upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD) to play the Screamin' Eagles in a Montgomery County - 4A West bout on Monday, January 8. The Screamin' Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Seneca Valley won 76-14 in their recent league bout against Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD)

Next up, the Cougars play the Northwest Jaguars (Germantown, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Quince Orchard will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
