North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Clinton River Kings (Clinton, IA), 59-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Scott upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Lancers host Davenport West (Davenport, IA) to play the Falcons in a Mississippi bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Davenport West lost 82-43 in their recent league bout against Muscatine (Muscatine, IA)

Next up, the River Kings play the Rockridge Rockets (Taylor Ridge, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Clinton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 42-16 league win over Orion (Orion, IL).
