Coleman Bluecats (Coleman, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Roscoe Plowboys (Roscoe, TX), 47-46 in a league bout.
With the win, Coleman upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Bluecats travel to Colorado (Colorado City, TX) to play the Wolves in a 2A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 10-12. Colorado won 56-50 in their recent league bout against Winters (Winters, TX)
Next up, the Plowboys play the Miles Bulldogs (Miles, TX) in a 2A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Roscoe will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 62-40 league win over Bangs (Bangs, TX).
