Colorado Wolves (Colorado City, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Winters Blizzards (Winters, TX), 56-50 in a league bout.
With the victory, Colorado upgrades its record to 10-12 on the campaign. The Wolves host Coleman (Coleman, TX) to play the Bluecats in a 2A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bluecats come into the bout with a record of 8-8. Coleman won 47-46 in their recent league bout against Roscoe (Roscoe, TX)
Next up, the Blizzards play the Bangs Dragons (Bangs, TX) in a 2A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Winters will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 62-40 league loss to Miles (Miles, TX).
