In Friday's non-league outing, the Perrin-Whitt Pirates (Perrin, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Community Christian Warriors (Mineral Wells, TX), by a margin of 63-40.
The Pirates (12-10) will now prepare for their outing against Garner (Weatherford, TX). The go into the 1A Region III District 21 outing with a 9-10 record. In their last outing, Garner was trounced by Newcastle (Newcastle, TX), 57-16, in a league outing.
The Warriors now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity Christian for a non-league outing on Friday, January 12. Community Christian will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 51-50 league win over Midland Classical Academy (Midland, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-7.
