The Cordova Blue Devils (Cordova, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Haleyville Lions (Haleyville, AL), 46-31 in Friday's league test.
The Blue Devils (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Hamilton (Hamilton, AL). The Aggies go into the 4A Area 12 test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Hamilton notched a victory over Winfield (Winfield, AL), 61-18, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Phil Campbell for a non-league test on Saturday, January 6. Haleyville will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 44-43 league win over Danville (Danville, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-8.
