With the win, Varnum upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Whippets host Dover (Dover, OK) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 14-0. Dover won 63-32 in their recent non-league bout against Union City (Union City, OK)

Next up, the Bluejackets clash with the Union City Tigers (Union City, OK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Coyle will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 63-32 non-league loss to Dover (Dover, OK).
