Watson Chapel Wildcats (Pine Bluff, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Crossett Eagles (Crossett, AR), 61-12 in a league bout.

With the win, Watson Chapel upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Stuttgart (Stuttgart, AR) to clash with the Ricebirds in a 4A Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Ricebirds go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Stuttgart lost 67-40 in their recent league bout against Star City (Star City, AR)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Warren Lumberjacks (Warren, AR) in a 4A Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Crossett will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Lumberjacks go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 51-32 league loss to Monticello (Monticello, AR).
