West Virginia High School Basketball - Doddridge County topples Ritchie County

January 5, 2024: Ellenboro, WV 26346

In Friday's non-league outing, the Doddridge County Bulldogs (West Union, WV) basketball squad beat the host Ritchie County Rebels (Ellenboro, WV), by a count of 46-37.

The Bulldogs (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Braxton County (Sutton, WV). The Eagles go into the Little Kanawha - East outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Braxton County defeated Clay County (Clay, WV), 46-34, in a league outing.

The Rebels now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ravenswood for a Little Kanawha - West outing on Tuesday, January 9. Ritchie County will clash with a Red Devils squad coming off a 48-25 league win over Poca (Poca, WV). The Red Devils record now stands at 7-5.

Doddridge County
