Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA) and the visiting Northwest Wolves (Waukee, IA), saw Dowling Catholic's basketball squad knock off Northwest by a count of 43-33.

With the victory, Dowling Catholic upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Maroons host Barrington (Barrington, IL) to play the Fillies/Broncos in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Fillies/Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Barrington lost 45-30 in their recent non-league challenge against New Trier (Winnetka, IL)

Next up, the Wolves play the Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA) in a Central Iowa Metro - Central challenge, on Friday, January 12. Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
