In their next game, the Greyhounds face the Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) in a AAAAA Region 2 game, on Friday, January 12. Jones County will attempt to move on its 14-4 season record. The Wolverines enter the game with a 15-1 record after their 65-62 non-league win over Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, AL).

With the defeat, Dutchtown moves to 7-10 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Calhoun (Calhoun, GA) to face the Yellow Jackets in a non-league game on Saturday, January 6. The Yellow Jackets enter the game with a record of 7-6. Calhoun won 41-39 in their recent non-league game against Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA)
