Good Hope Raiders (Cullman, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host East Lawrence Eagles (Trinity, AL), 83-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Good Hope upgrades its record to 18-2 on the season. The Raiders host West Morgan (Trinity, AL) to clash with the Rebels in a 4A Area 13 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 9-7.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Danville Hawks (Danville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. East Lawrence will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 8-13 record after their 44-43 league loss to Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL).
