North Carolina High School Basketball - East Rowan trounced by Northwest Cabarrus

January 5, 2024: Concord, NC 28027

The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans routed the visiting East Rowan Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 58-27 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont game, on Wednesday, January 10. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 0-11 record after their 65-23 non-league loss to North Rowan (Spencer, NC).

With the defeat, East Rowan moves to 6-6 on the year. The Mustangs host A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC) to face the Wonders in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 10. The Wonders enter the game with a record of 8-4. A.L. Brown lost 73-18 in their recent league game against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC)
