The Eastern Randolph Wildcats basketball team (Ramseur, NC), was toppled 46-32 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC)

The Warriors now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Grove for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 10.

The Wildcats (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars come into the 1A/2A Piedmont battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Southwestern Randolph was toppled by Randleman (Randleman, NC), 47-41, in a league battle.
