The Eastwood Eagles basketball team (Pemberville, OH), was toppled 49-35 in Friday's league battle with the host Genoa Area Comets (Genoa, OH)
The Comets now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fostoria for a Northern Buckeye battle on Thursday, January 11. Genoa Area will confront a Redmen team coming off a 49-44 league loss to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, OH). The Redmen record now stands at 5-7.
The Eagles (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Maumee (Maumee, OH). The Panthers come into the Northern Buckeye battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Maumee beat Rossford (Rossford, OH), 48-39, in a league battle.
