The Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) basketball knocked off the host Suffield Wildcats (West Suffield, CT), 48-29 in Friday's league test.

The Knights (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT). The Tigers go into the North Central Connecticut test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Sports & Medical Sciences Academy notched a victory over Rockville (Vernon, CT), 58-29, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Coventry for a North Central Connecticut test on Tuesday, January 9. Suffield will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 48-33 league win over Bolton (Bolton, CT). The Patriots record now stands at 5-4.
